ABOUT THE AUTHOR J.N. Choudhary
J.N. Choudhary did M.A, M.Phil and Ph.D. in Sociology from university of Rajasthan Jaipur. He has been teaching sociology from more than there decades in the department of sociology, university of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Presently he is associate professor in the department and also holding the post of associate proctor in the university of rajasthan, Jaipur. Dr. Choudhary has been specialized in the field of sociology of family, however, gender studies and migration have been of his keen interest, he has published a large number of research papers on family, marriage, divorce, gender discrimination, multi culturalism, migratory, folk culture and oral tradition etc. In national and international Journals. He has attended and presented papers in number of national and international conferences and seminars organised by Indian science congress association, World Congress sociology, Indian sociological society, Indian human ecology, council and Rajasthan sociological association. He has got two important books published in his name: “divorce in India Society†and marriage, family and socialization. About one and a half dozen students have been awarded Ph.D. degree under his supervision. Dr. Choudhary has recently bee honoued with “Bharat Jyoti Awardâ€, by India International friendship society in New Delhi for outstanding academic contribution in the field of sociology.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR Padma Jain
Padma Jain is a science graduate from university of Rajasthan Jaipur and did post-graduations in EAFM, economics and Sociology. She did B.Ed from university of Rajasthan Jaipur and M.ed from Himachal Pradesh University. She got her Ph>d, degree from University of Rajasthan Jaipur in 2003. Dr. Padma Jain started her career as science teacher in school education though it was her interest in sociology that now as senior teacher she has been teaching sociology to higher secondary students in S.S. Jain Subodh girls senior higher secondary school Jaipur. She has attended number of national and international conferences and Seminars.
