Production of Tea in India: With Special Reference to Dooars

The main purpose of the present study is to identify the different factors which are related to growth and fluctuation on tea production. Studies have been made to indicate the extent to which climatic factors are responsible in variation in tea production. The book also offers a scope for identifying different economic and technical factors which are influencing the tea production and thus help in evolving appropriate strategies for development of Indian Tea Industry. It also indicates the extent of efficiency in utilisation of available resources by the planters to maximise production.
