ABOUT THE AUTHOR Anuradha Singh
Anuradha Singh is a scientist with the National Institute of Science, Technology and Development Studies (NISTADS), a part of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi. She has been researching both the theory and practice of Ayurveda. Singh also has a keen interest in doing reasearch on the crossroads of science and Indian medical traditions as well as reproductive and mental health from an Ayurvedic perspective.

Dr. Nupur Mathur has dome her Graduation in Human Biology (Specialization in Biophysics) from AIIMS, New Delhi (1989); Masters in Biotechnology (Plant tissue Culture) from Pune university (1991) and PhD from rajasthan university (2002) on genotoxic evaluation of Untreated and treated industrial effluents. She has been working as Assistant Professor in Industrial Microbiology, maharani College since the beginning of this Vocational course (1994); teaching microbiology to post Graduate students of micrology, Department of zoology for last five years; published nine research papers in national and International Journals; attended several Conferences and Workshops. Presently doing research in Environmental microbiology, with special focus on microbiology of industrial effluents and wastewater treatment plants.
