Feedback is a necessary ingredient of educational system. Without proper feedback, any teacher can not evaluate the effectiveness of teaching learning process and the performance of students. Hence, this experimental study was carried out to evaluate the effectiveness of various methods of feedback providing to the student concerning his performance and thereby to recommend appropriate method that reinforces the best performance of the students. It is found that the intermittent feedback with discussion of wrong answers midway during teaching and also at the end of testing session is superior than any other method. Better infrastructure facilities, quality textbooks, guidance and counselling, supervised study, parent teacher meetings, etc., are also very much required to enhance the performance of students.
