In the search of a specific homoeopathic remedy, the symptoms common to different remedies, common to different diseases, or common to different patients suffering from the same disease are of little prescribing value. Whereas, the group of symptoms, more peculiar, striking and singular to individual patients, are known to be only controlling symptoms and may lead to curative prescribing, provided viewed in the proper perspective of symptomatic totality. An attempt has been, therefore, made in this treatise to isolate and arrange alphabetically, tens of thousands of disease symptoms, on striking peculiarities and singularities, out of more commonly used homoeopathic remedies. Hope, this will not only make repertorization easier, but also help the busy practitioners to make snap-shot prescribing particularly in acute ailment.
