The rules of the trade games are being redefined, markets are liberalizing and globalizing, international business practices are changing and competition is becoming much more intense. So the question which comes in front of nations is–‘Can countries create and sustain export strategies that will foster growth and development and well as exploit commercial opportunity in such turbulent times’? Export promotion organizations must evaluate where they are, what are their core strengths, how their performance is perceived by exporters, what lies ahead in future and how to create capacity to adapt to changing trade opportunities.
