The present study "Humanism of Mahatma Gandhi and M.N. Roy", is confined to the exposition of the humanistic ideas and ideals of some of the major humanists of the East and the West in general, and those of Mahatma Gandhi and M.N. Roy in particular. Herein a general study of humanism is envisaged having a view the inviolable need to correlate the contemporary and the historical, whatever the area of study. The fact that such a study enables the proper placement of the subjects of study in the historical perspective, is not overlooked.
