Mrs. Harsha Shelat, M.Sc. working as a Assistant research scientist at Department of Microbiology, Anand Agricultural university, Anand (Gujarat) India, has about 23 years experience of research and teaching in the field more than 35 research papers in National and International journals and produced 35 recommendations of various biofertilizers for the benefit of Gujarat Farmers. She has designed and formulated few booklets as well as leaflets on biofertilizers for popularizing technology. She is a recipient of prestigious Sardar Patel, Award for his contribution in the field of PSM. She is also a resource person for imparting training on biofertilizers in various state training pogrammes.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR M.S. Vora
Dr. Mayank S. Vora, Ph.D. working as a Research Scientist at department of Microbiology, Anand Agricultural University, Anand (Gujarat) India, has about 33 years experience of research and teaching in the field of microbiology. He has published 33 research papers in National and International journals and produced 35 recommendations of various biofertilizers for the benefit of Gujarat Farmers. He is a recipient of prestigious Sardar Patel, Award for his contribution in the field of PSM an also been recipient of Bharat Jyoti Award. Dr. Vora has carried out 5 research projects on biofertilizers. He is also a resource person state training programmes. He has undertaken most advanced training in Legume/Rhizobium technology from NIFTAL, Hawail, USA. He is also acting as external examiner at postgraduate level in many traditional and state agricultural universities.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR R.V. Vyas
Dr. Rajababu V. Vyas, Ph.D., working as Associate professor (Microbiology) & PI, EPN Project at B.A. College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand (G.S.), India and has 19 years research experience on Microbial control of insects and phytonematodes with regards to isolation, development of mass production technique, laboratory and field-testing of invertebrate pathogens. He has published more than 85 research papers in national and international journals, 4 book chapters and review articles in international reputed, edited publications. He has also produced many recommendations, 7 for scientific community and 6 for farming community to provide non-chemical management practices for agricultural pest management. He has received 2 awards, hariOm Ashram Prerit Best research paper for teachers and Nematological Society of India best presentation. He has guided 9 postgraduate students so far. Dr. Vyas has received funds for ICAR and GSFC and carried out 3 research projects on biological control and presently has few projects on hand. He is also a resource person for imparting training on microbial pesticides in various state and national training programmes. He is also Advisor Third World Academy of sciences (TWAS), Trieste, Italy; ICAR, New Delhi; Japan Science & Technology Corporation (JST), Kawaguci-City, Japan for project and report evaluation. He is member of seven scientific organizations in India and extending his appropriate services. He is also acting as external examiner at postgraduate level in many traditional and state agricultural universities.
