This is an encyclopaedia of fungi. It is one of the topics which contains many technical terms which are not easy to understand and very confusing as well. The present book tries to ease this problem. Starting alphabetically, it contains almost every technical term related to fungi. Each terms has been defined in a very simple and easily understandable language. Some terms are defined with their pictures with the sole aim of making this book more pleasurable to read. It has been maintained throughout the book that explanation of any term should not be very long and cannot go beyond a certain limit.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR V.K. Rastogi
This book is penned by Dr. V.K. Rastogi. This is the third encyclopaedia written by him. Earlier two encyclopaedias have been well acclaimed by academicians and students. In this attempt he persents an encyclopaedia on fungi. He has been a very good scholar throughout his career. After completing his graduation from Agra University, he came to Delhi for higher education and got his masters and doctorate from Delhi University. He has taught many years and has been the head of department of Botany in a prestigious college. His experience of many years has been very instrumental in the shaping of this book.
