Environment is very important for our future sustenance. Development process is also equally important. Therefore, considering two aspects we must have sustainable development. Environment does not mean only aspects of effluents but it is the way of life including way of living condition, sanitation, habitant and income for minimum need for living conditions. The book discusses various aspects of above covering all the sectors analyzing various data and as far as possible a holistic approach is made. Giving complete picture of environment with various suggestions, the book it is hoped shall be of immense help to planning process, industrial process besides to researchers and academicians. ABOUT THE AUTHOR G K Ghosh
He is graduated in Chemical Engineering from Regional Engineering College, Rourkella. After graduation served number of organizations like Hindustan Lever Ltd., I.B.P Co. Ltd., Konark Detergents and Soaps Ltd., and finally joined Khadi & Village Industries Commission as director in the year 1982 retiring as Joint Chief Executive Officer in the year 2008. after retirement he was made member and chairman respectively of two important committees of Ministry of Science & Technology. He is also working with two rural based groups to develop environment friendly rural industrialization. He has presented more than 40 papers in Anthropology in various sessions of Indian Science Congress. More than 80 articles in various subjects written in English, Hindi, Bengali and Oriya were published in various journals and news papers of repute. He had authored more than 50 books out of which 48 were published. The subjects ranged from disaster Management, Anthropology, Environmental Issues, Renewable Energy, Ayurveda etc. he is well traveled all Indian States and most of the European countries. He was trained in Industtrial Cluster from International labor Organisation Training center at Turin, Italy.
