The Raj Bhawan of Kolkata is one of the greatest architectural marvels of the city and an integral part of India’s history and heritage. This book captures the interior and exterior of the Raj Bhawan of Kolkata (the renamed Government House of the British empire in India) through the eyes of a curious photographer. The building is easily the most monumental and spectacular, also one of the earliest and the best preserved of the imperial architectural heritage of the city.
