Organisation and Working of Adult Education

The present book has eight chapters. The first chapter deals with the concept and importance of the adult education programmes, and also objectives and methodology of the study. The review of literature on adult education programmes is discussed in the second chapter. The third and fourth chapter examines the performance of the adult education in India and Andhra Pradesh, respectively. The Organizational structure of adult education programme is presented in the fifth chapter. The environmental frame work of the study area and the adult education in the selected district is presented in the sixth chapter. The perception of the officials and neo-literates on the post literacy and continuing education is analyzed in the seventh chapter. The eighth chapter deals with the conclusion of the study.
