ABOUT THE AUTHOR Charla Griffy-Brown
Charla Griffy-Brown, Ph.D., is currently an Associate Professor of Information System and holds the Denny Endowed Chair at Pepperdine University's Graziadio School of Business and Management. In 2004, she received a research award from the International Association for the Management of Technology, Which recognized her as one of the most active and prolific researchers in the Technology Management and Innovation field. A former researcher at the Foundation for Advanced Studies on International Development, Tokyo, Dr. Griffy-Brown has also served as an associate professor at the Tokyo Institute of Technology. Dr. Griffy-Brown graduated from Harvard University, is a former Fulbright Scholar, and holds a Ph.D. in technology management from Griffith University in Queensland, Australia. She has worked for NASA at the Kennedy Space center and served as a consultant for the United nation's Global Environmental facility and the European Commission. Dr. Griffy-Brown has conducted research at companies such as Honda, Hilton Hotels and Pratt-Whitney Rocketdyne/Boeing and Touchstone. She has also worked extensively with small and medium -sized businesses in Asia and the United States. She has a passion for assisting women entrepreneurs create successful business. Dr. Griffy-Brown;s research has been funded by an SAP university Alliance Grant and the Rothschild Research Endowment. She has also had research support from the Pepperdine Voyager/Lilly Foundation as well as the Graziadio School of Business Funds for Excellence. She is currently part of global research team analyzing the fragility of critical infrastructure in the area of information systems security with the International Institute of Applied Systems Analysis, Vienna, Austria.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR Vinnie Jauhari
Dr. Vinnie Jauhari is M.Sc. (Hons.) in Electronics from Panjab University, Chandigarh and MBA-Marketing (Gold Medalist). She received her Ph.D. on Corporate Entrepreneurship from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and Post-Doctoral from the United Nations University, Tokyo in the area of Technology and Society. She has worked at IILM before she joined the Institute for International Management and Technology as Associate Professor and Associate Dean. Dr. Jauhari is currently Professor and the Head of the School of Management & Entrepreneurship at IIMT. She is also the founding editor of the Journal of Services Research and has over 45 publications in National and International Journals. She has also authored books on Business Strategy and Services Management. Her area of expertise is Strategic Management, Technology Issues and Marketing.
