It is to be emphasized here that different aspects of the same theme are explored in different poems. For example Milton was keenly interested in distinguishing true heroism from spurious heroism. He found the source of a spurious heroism in Mans first Disobedience and of a true heroism in one mans firm obedience fully tried.
