While endeavoring to produce a perfectly correct translation of the original, the author has avoided too close an adherence to Hahnemann's construction, style, and punctuation. By more liberal use of periods, many a long and intricate sentence has been made to yield resting-places to the mind of the reader. Plain English expressions, and simplicity of style, were needed to render the work accessible to the student.
