This book Globalization and Social Transition in India and China is a collection of my articles published during my fellowship programme at the India China Institute (ICI), New School, New York. The book is based on my observations field experiences, understanding and assessment of the ongoing social transformation in both the countries. As a first cohort fellow of ICI, I published these articles in various popular newspapers and magazines in India during 2006-08.
