The Santhal, one of the Schedule Tribes of the Jharkhand state. They are found in the districts of Hazaribagh, Singhbhum, Santhal-Pragana, Giridih, Dhanbad, Ranchi and Bhagalpur, Purnea, Sharsha and Munger in Bihar. Their language is Santhali.
