This Dictionary of Mikir Language is in two parts: Part-I is Mikir-English and Part-II is English-Mikir. This deals with the language of the Mikirs who are numerically the largest among the Assam Frontier races. They are scattered over a wide area from Golaghat to Kamrup and the Khasi Hills beyond Guwahati and from Cachar plains to the north of Biswanath in Darang District.
