The present one is based on three texts including the above mentioned printed copy and two fresh manuscripts. The peculiarity of this drama is that it is composed in three languages, Sanskrit, Prakrit and Maithili--a unique combination rarely found in our ancient dramas. The songs contained in this drama are in Maithili dialeet.
