We feel extreme plesure to present to the Sanskrit scholars the reprint edition of Kalidasa’s unique creation, the Meghaduta with the commentary named Subudha written by Bharata mallika – a Bengali Vaidya in profession. This commentary was critically and laboriously edited by J.B. Chaudhuri, and first published in the Journal of Pracyavani, Vol. VII, 1950.
