My Kabul Story is the result of a journal, which the author had maintained during her assignment as CEO for the only International Bank in Afghanistan. From the author's perspective, the book is also a reflection of the magical side of kabul; its warm and loving people like her driver Fareed, her maid Mursel and her cook Govi, who she learnt to rely on.
