In publishing this Oriya-English Dictionary a few words of introduction appear necessary. It is a new compilation based on those of Rev. Amos Sutton and Mr. William Brooks. Those who are acquainted with Mr. Brooks' book will find that many words not in ordinary use have been omitted and a large number of other useful words introduced.
