What is Buddhism? ABOUT THE AUTHOR C.T. Dorji

Dr. C.T. Dorji, Ph.D. (Magadh), M.A. (Double), B.Com., P.G. Dip-in-Public Administration (LSE, London) is civil servant, academic, historian, connoisseur, writer and multi-disciplinary scholar. He joined Bhutan Civil Service in 1968 and served in various positions. He participated in many international conferences and presented papers on varied subjects. He authored ten books in Bhutanese history and culture and edited and compiled three books on Buddhist Moral Lessons. He is honoured to be Fellow, royal Historical society, London; Deputy governor, The American Biographical Institute, North Carolina, USA for Bhutan; Member, Research Board of Advisors, The American Biographical Institute, North Carolina, USA; Deputy Director General, The International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England for Bhutan,; Member, Advisory Council, The International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England; Member, The World Buddhist University Council, Bangkok, Thailand; Regional Editor of WFB Newsletter, The World Fellowship of Buddhist, Bangkok; Member, The International Network of Engaged Buddhists, Bangkok. Presently, Dr. C.T. Dorji is Joint Director, National Museum of Bhutan, Ta-Dzong, Paro, Bhutan.
