Presenting a critical assessment of Kristubhagavatam, a Sanskrit epic on the life of Jesus Christ, it discusses at length the modern Sanskrit literature on children, Laharikavya in Sanskrit, the creative writings of Panditraj Sri Digamber Mahapatra, and eulogical poems on Maharshi Aurobindo and Sri Ma.
Examining the contribution of Baroda to post-Independence creative Sanskrit literature, it makes a literary study of Mulasankar Yajnika, Samyogitasvayamvara, Tavasmi Dasah, Sagarah, Sitaramanjaneyam, Baalnaatakaani, Bhawanibharati, Bandinah and Sudhasindhormadhye. It also examines the state of social awareness in the modern Sanskrit prose literature.
