Gazing back, and inward, at the infinite wealth of scriptural transmission that ever was and still is Mother India’s welcome and precious gift to humanity, is to rediscover the primal secret of existence itself. Locked in those pellucid pages, as great seers like Lord Vasishtha declare most adamantly, lie wisdom principles which free the mind, enlighten the intellect, and bolster the spirit, for they are eternal and, gratefully, completely unassailable by human ignorance.
The long efflux of time which stultifies the mind’s memory gets reduced to a single moment to rapt awakening upon hearing the nondual truth, what to speak of watching divine reality get adeptly unveiled by an illumined soul. Therefore, to call the preceptors and the wisdom of the ancient scriptures of India, or of any culture for that matter, outdated or nonapplicable to present times, is to over look the key to outright freedom itself.
The aspiring soul always has a choice: it can suffer the trials, trammels, and turbulence of worldliness, all without aid or succor, or it can take recourse to sweet spiritual refection by diving headlong into the vast and revivifying pools of mother wisdom that are always flowing from the compassionate lips of the saints, sages, and seers.
