V.S. Pramar (1928-2004) retired as Professor and Head of the Department, School of Architecture, M.S. University of Baroda. Professor Pramar’s works include Wooden Architecture of Gujarat, Haveli – Wooden Houses and Mansions of Gujarat, Wood Carvings of Gujarat, and Design Fundamentals in Architecture in addition to numerous articles in scholarly journals and magazines.
