ABOUT THE AUTHOR B.C. Mishra

Dr. Brundaban Chandra Mishra (b. 1956) after doing his post graduation in Education obtained his M.Phil. (Education) and Ph.D. (Education) from Kurukshetra University. At present, he is working as a senior lecturer in Education, D.P.I.A.S.E., Berhampur. He has contributed numerous research papers in the journals of national repute. He is actively engaged in research activities. Many scholars have received their doctorate degrees under his supervision. He has completed a number of research projects financed by N.C.E.R.T., and S.R.C., Orissa. Dr. Mishra’s areas of interest include, besides the present one, Adult and Continuing Education, Teacher Education, Non-formal Education, Tribal Education and Special Education. He is one of the state level key persons in Non-formal Education. His other books are: Education of Tribal Children & Qualitative Education for Tribals: Agenda and Problem.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Santilata Patnaik

Smt. Santilata Patnaik (b. 1956) currently working as the Head, Deptt. of Education, Sabitri Women’s College Bhanjanagar, Dist. Ganjam (Orissa). She has had a distinguished academic career. She has a long standing teaching experience of 22 years. She has specialized knowledge in the area of population education. Her services as a member of the Board of Studies in Education have been availed of by the Berhampur University.
