Aesop’s Fables

Aesop’s moral and educative fables are well-known and read all over the world. It is believed that Aesop was born in 620BC in Greece, to a slave family. Thus he could not receive any formal education, but he was very clever, intellegent and had a philosophical bent of mind. He spun interesting moral tales using animal and birds as his main characters. ‘Sour Grapes’, ‘The Lion and the Mouse’, ‘Wolf! Wolf!’, ‘The Thristy Crow’, ‘Who will bell the Cat’, are some of the stories that are still very popular and loved by children. This book is a compilation of such fascinating stories.
