Agricultural Revolution: Vision for Future

K.P. Wasnik born in 1959, did his graduation and post graduation form Punjabro Deshmukh Agricultural University, Akola, Maharashtra and obtained Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics f4om Mahatma Phule Agricultural University, Rahuri, Maharastra, India. He served in the Department of Agriculture, Maharastra State for ten years (1985-1995) as a Agricultural Supervisor (Bhandara district), Subject Matter Specialist (Latur District), technical Officer (Aurangabad) and Agricultural Development Officer in the Zilla Parishad, Nagpur. Her joined the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India, New Delhi in December, 1995 through the Union Public Service Commission. At present, he is a Joint Director in the Directorate of Extension, Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India, New Delhi. On behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India, he visited Israel to participate in the course ‘Research and development for senior professionals in India’ during August-September 1998. He has published more than forty articles on rural development, agricultural extension and other allied subjects in many journals, newspapers and magazines.
