The book attempts to provide an updated and comprehensive account of the Indian Agricultrue. Two approaches have been adopted to analyse data and informations: (i) changes during the planning period for Indian agriculture and (ii) state-wise change. ABOUT THE AUTHOR B.H. Joshi

The author, Dr. Bhaskar Hargovind Joshi, has considerable field experience in conducting regional surveys pertaining to research in Agricultural Economics. He teaches Economics at Saurashtra University, (Rajkot) and has published numerous papers on Economics in different research periodicals. Dr. Joshi has twelve books to his credit which encompass Economic Theory, Economic Problems, Planning, Regional Economy and Agricultural Economics.
