This volume contains the most comprehensive collection of scholarly sources on Indian poetics and aesthetics (the Alamkarasastra) ever published in ancient India. Timothy C. Cahill. Ph.d. (1995) in Sanskrit and Asian Studies, University of Pannsylvania, is an Assistant Professor at Loyola University, New Orleans. His research focuses on South Asian religions and comparative aesthetics.
