ABOUT THE AUTHOR Gilani Kamran
GILANI KAMRAN studied at Islamia College, and Edinburgh University. His first composition was published in 1959 which was his experiment in the poetics of new verse in Urdu. He was awarded prizes for his literary works in 1965 and 1969. His work on ideological content of writing formulated a new perspective for creative thinking in the people. He worked on the metaphysics of literary culture and has given a new direction to contemporary writing.
