ABOUT THE AUTHOR Dian Dincin Buchman
Paul Bergner has studied and practiced natural medicine since 1973. He teaches at the Rocky Mountain Center for Botanical Studies in Boulder, Colorado, where he also has a private practice. He has six books on natural medicine in print. He was the founding editor of The Naturopathic Physician, and formerly edited Dr. Steve Austin's Clinical Nutrition Update. He has more than 120 articles on medical herbalism and alternative medicine in print in various periodicals and journals. Bergner was the founding director of AMR'TA (the Alchemical Medicine Research and Teaching Association). He is a professional member of the National Association of Science Writers. Bergner founded Medical Herbalism in 1989.
