This book is designed as an introductory course on Antenna Engineering and Radio Waves for one semester for covering the syllabus of undergraduate courses of various Indian Universtities. It also encompases the course contents of Radio Physics and M.Sc. Level with specialisation in Electronics. For following the topics on antenna engineering and radio wave propagation through space a good background of e.m. Field theory is prerequisite. However, this book does not presuppose such a knowledge on field theory. Attempt has been made to introduce the field theory required for antenna engineerig at introductory level. All teh theory has been supported with a good number of examples with hints.
