Environmental science has been introduced as a course work at the undergraduate level i.e., B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com by all the Universities of higher learning in Andhra Pradesh State. This course material has prompted the editor to have an insight and deeper understanding to strengthen the concepts on core topics by interacting in this seminar in the field of Applied Geo-environmental Studies at the micro level to reach the objective and goal. Applied Geo-environmental studies seminar material has been divides into five sub divisions. The above mentioned five sub-divisions conglomerate into environmental studies where the ‘earth’ has a firm base and the ‘environment’ so prevailed should have to be protected and conserved on scientific lines to a maximum possible extent to the people living upon the earth with minimum efforts of cost factor involved in this process.
