Atrocities on Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes: Prevention and Implementation

Dr. P.C. Sikligar, working as Assistant Professor, Centre for Social Development at National Institute of Rural Development, Hyderabad, has been associated with a number of research and training programmes of the institute including tribal development for more than one and a half decade. Dr. Sikligar is working on different aspects of rural and tribal development, forest and tribal relationship, forest management concerning of tribal development, social security, social equality and social justice, etc. He has, to his credit, a number of articles on tribal problems, tribal development and various aspects of rural development besides publication of 5 books. He has participated in a number of training programmes related to tribal and rural development in India and abroad.
