Basics of Agricultural Chemistry

This book is intended as a basic in agricultural chemistry for students in agriculture and other examinations of similar types and standard. A short theoretical discussion has been given where necessary, in order to recall to the mind of the student the more salient points has been placed on the qualitative side of the subject to a greater extent. Careful planning and proper scheduling with good quality irrigation water is important for increasing agricultural productivity. The parameters that determine the quality of water for irrigation, their analytical procedures and the criteria for classification of irrigation water, common fertilizers and manures have been included in this book.
