ABOUT THE AUTHOR Avadhanula Vijaya Kumar Babu

Dr. Avadhanula Vijaya Kumar Babu Hailing from Madhira, Khamma District, Andhra Pradesh; holds a couple of Post-graduate degrees in English literature and ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology' a post-graduate Bachelor's degree in Library and Information Science; a Diploma in German Language and an M.Phil. in Temple Studies-all from Osmania University. HIs Ph.D. on Eigraphical and Architectural Study of Lord Bhavanarayana Temples in andhra Desa: A Socio-Economic analysis is obtained from Deccancollege Post Graduate and Research Institute, University of Poona, Pune, and the Same is formulated into the present book. Dr. Avadhanula is an elected Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain and Ireland FRAS (London), Member of International Council of Museums and Executive Member of the Indian National Committee for the International Council of Museums. He has contributed several research papers to the National and International Conferences and Journals of repute on various aspects f Indological and Archaeological Studies. He is presently working as a Senior Lecturer in the University Post-Graduate and Research Department of Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology, Osmania University, Hyderabad.
