The Bibliography on Tribal Studies is a joint venture of a group of refresh workers of the Centre for tribal Studies under the supervision of Prof. Gangmumei Kamei, the then Coordinator of the Centre. It is true that tribal studies are now one of the most important areas of social science research. A lot of works have been done so far by different writers on various aspects of tribal life, and culture. Their findings give an encouraging contributor in the field of the social science research. May people also have written a number of research papers and books on the life and culture of the various tribal people of North East India including Manipur. Their findings were published in the form of like Gazetteer, Census report, Administration report and in some other official documents. Their works are also a good contribution in the study of the various aspects of the socio-cultural life of the tribal people particularly of this region.
