Being teachers we generally feel dearth of book in Biophysical chemistry which could provide most of the informations an undergraduate post graduate student of Biochemistry, Microbiology and other science discipline should know. Friends also shared the same idea. In most books of biophysical chemistry, authors deal with certain topics of their interests in great depth while leave other topics which are not of their interest, though of their similar importance, if not more, to the students. So being constantly insisted and hard pressed by beloved colleges and students. We ultimately ventured to write a book on Biophysical chemistry, which should be completely exam-oriented and research-oriented also. Our intention has been to write in a clear, lucid manner and readily understandable way in our style keeping always a vigilant watch to the student’s interest. This book mainly deals with forces which are physicochemical in nature and of importance to different biological systems and the utilizations of these forces in recent analytical techniques. In general, we believe the book should prove useful to undergraduate and most graduate students of Microbiology, Biochemistry, Medical sciences and pharmaceutical science, and other discipline of life sciences.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR Ayodhya Singh
Dr. Ayodhya Singh is an experienced researcher and a seasoned teacher since 1988 having thirteen years teaching experience at Post Graduation level. After taking his graduation degree from Deen Dayal Upadhyay University, Gorakhpur (formerly Gorakhpur University) & Master’s degree (in 1st division & Second position in order of Merit) from the Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. Since then he is engaged in fulfilling his studies on organometalic chemistry. At present he is working as Senior lecturer in M.M.H. College, Ghaziabad. He is guiding many research students for their Doctorate degree.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR Ratnesh Singh
Ratnesh Singh did his M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from K.N.I.Sulthanpur, U.P. affliated with Ram manohar Lohia, Awadh University in 1997 in second division. He has worked as senior Research Fellow at IISR, Lucknow from October 2000 to March 2002 under A-O cess Project "Indentification of Molecular markers for sucrose synthesis and their manipulation to increase sucrose contents in sugar cane". He has many research papers to his credit. He is at present working as Senior Research Fellow at IISR, Lucknow in another Project. HIs present interest centres on biochemical parameters in relation to maturity of sugra cane.
