This book tries to study the determinants of birth interval of rural Manipuri women. Determining the variability of average birth interval with respect to demographic, behavioural, physiological and socio-economic factors, it examines the variability of the components of birth intervals, namely, post partum amenorrhoea and waiting time to conception with respect of demographic, physiological and socio-economic factors.
Further it evaluates the effects of covariates of birth interval by proportional hazards survival analysis. Finally, it analyzes the effects of covariates of post partum amenorrhoea and waiting time to conception by proportional hazards survival analysis.
