ABOUT THE AUTHOR G. Bhadru Naik

Dr. G. Bhadru Naik, MA, M.Phil, Ph.D., is Associate Professor of History and Tourism Management, Kakatiya University, Warangal. His research interests include social movements in India. He was awarded the UGC-JRF in 1998 and Mahatma Jotirao Phule National Award by the Dalit Sahitya Academy, New Delhi in 2001.He has served as the Head of the Department and held many important administrative positions in the university besides being a member of the Academic Senate. He has many research papers in his credit and also supervised ten M.Phil dissertations, three Ph.Ds and edited six books. He is a social activist, fighting for the cause of the dalits. He is also an active member of a number of NGOs and professional bodies. He has been assisting the University Administration in different capacities: Member, Academic Senate, Member Standing Committee of SC/ST Cell, Member, Advisory Committee of Adult and Continuing Education, Warden of PG Hostels, Director, Kakatiya Adhyana Kendram (Pre-examination Coaching Centre for SC/ST/BCs), Head of the Department of History and Tourism Management, Director, University Hostels, Kakatiya University. At present he is  the Director, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Studies Centre (Sponsored by the UGC), Kakatiya University, Warangal (A.P).

ABOUT THE AUTHOR V. Rajashekar

Dr. V. Rajasekhar has completed his doctrol research in the area of post-modernism. He is currently working as Lecturer in English at University Arts & Science College, Kakatiya University. He has over 15 years experience of teaching English at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has edited three books and published 15 research articles in reputed journals. He is also a course writer for the School of Distance Learning and Continuing Education, Kakatiya University. His interests include Women Studies, Culture Studies, Dalit Studies, English Language Teaching, Interactive Communication, and Phonetics. He is now engaged in materials production and bringing out a print version of his doctoral research.
