Fundamentals for the study of behaviour in any bureaucracy are the inter-related issues of motivation and control. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Prashant K Mathur

Prashant K. Mathur is Assistant Director in the centre for Public Enterprises and Continuing Education. He is an alumnus of the Allahabad University and also holds a post-graduate diploma in public administration and community development from the university of Hyderabad. He has written lot many papers of national professional periodicals and published one book entitled Public Administration Policy and Planning and also lectured at various professional gathering, including seminars and symposia over the past thirty years.
