Coins of Malhar

Sushmita Bose Mujumdar (b. 1970) completed her M.A. in ancient Indian History and Culture from Calcutta University in 1993. She successfully completed a project on ‘Coin of South Kosala’ sponsored by the Centre for Archaeological Studies and Training under the Govt. of West Bengal. She has contributed a number of research papers on epigraphy and numismatics in different journals. Presently, enrolled for her Ph.D. at the Calcutta University on ‘A Cultural History of South Kosala (from 4th century to 8th century AD)’, she is also working as a Research Fellow in the Asiatic Society, Calcutta in a project on “Supplement to D.R. Bhandarkar’s list of North Indian Inscriptions.”
