The present work, Communication for Effective Science Education, was undertaken with a view to evolving suitable paradigms of communication for an effective science teacher. As a good manipulator of the learning strategies any teacher uses some verbal and non-verbal communication techniques which not only affect his ability to draw the attention of his pupils but also affect the congeniality of the learning atmosphere. But, this aspect of the teacher behavior has largely been ignored. This work fills the void. The book is divided into seven chapters deals with the theoretical framework, reviews the available literature, discusses methodology, procedure, tools and analyses and interprets the data based on IDER system of observation. The book discusses the evolved paradigms of communication of successful teachers besides providing an invaluable bibliography. The study is an original contribution to the development of theory and modules of science teaching.
