Complete Home Gardening

Gardening is a creative art with living things. It caters food for your body and mind. In other words the garden produce nourishes both body and mind. We need food to eat for sound growth and development of the body. Similarly the mind also need food which is however not concrete. The joy of creation and aesthetics can cheer your mind setting aside the monotony and gloominess. Fine arts and gardening are very absorbing any of which if taken up as a hobby or profession is apt to brace up the mental health. Prophet Mohammad rightly said, “If though hast a loaf of bread sell half and buy the flower of narcissus; for the bread nourisheth the body, but the narcissus the soil” (The English version by Crawford). Gardening comprises the culture of fruits, flowers and vegetables. They are grown in gardens as well as in the field. Generally, the garden produce is used in home. On the contrary, the field produce is treated as the commodities of commerce. The produce of the home garden is supplementary to the field produce. If the former runs short the price of the same commodities will go up in the market. Secondly, the produce of the home garden is fresh. On the other hand, what we purchase from the market are mostly stale or desiccated which have lost crispness. The horticultural produce of the market, be it from flower, fruit or vegetable, are in the main, brought from the distance places where they are grown in plenty and consequently the prices are cheap….
