Conservation at the Crossroads: Science, Society, and the Future of India’s Wildlife

Ghazala Shahabuddin, a PhD from Duke University, is a Fellow with the Council for Social Development, Delhi, and a research associate with the Wildlife Conservation Society. She has published extensively on sustainable forest use, the human impact on forests, and conservation-induced displacement. Her recent work is on forest management and resources extraction in relation to dry-forest birds.
