“Creativity in Management” analyses the ways in which mind works and how it can be made more effective by thinking differently to solve the abstract problems of the 21st century. Successful companies will not be those which only compete in the existing market but will be those which are also capable of creating new markets. In the agricultural economy, land was the most important wealth to earn income and landlords were the most powerful section of the society. Later on, with the industrial revolution, capitalism became important. In capitalism, capital was the most important wealth to earn income and capitalists became the most powerful section of the society. The 21st century will be the most important resource. Knowledge workers will be the most important section of the society. The type of problems they will face and the way they will solve is a matter of great importance to the mankind.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR N.U.K. Sherwani

Dr. N.U.K. Sherwani (b. 1961) is a Post-graduate in commerce. He has earned his M.Phil. and Ph.D. from Aligarh Muslim University. Currently, he is teaching in the Department of Business Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia. He has been a regular speaker in various seminars and conferences. He has been a regular contributor to various reputed journals.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Srinivas Shirur

Dr. Srinivas Shirur (b. 1967) IS A post-graduate in Economics (Osmania University), Masters in Marketing Management (Pondicherry University) and P.G. Diploma in Journalism (Madurai University). He was awarded JRF by UGC to pursue his Ph.D. He earned his Ph.D. from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He has taught in various universities and institutes like JMI, IP University, CCS University FORE Institute of Management, etc.
