In chapter 12 to 14, the soil and water conservation related management strategies described in detail in system perspective, while chapter 15 is focused on cropping systems management options in relation to salt affected soils.
The chapter 16 to 18 deals with integrated insect-pest management in system perspective while chapter 19 is focused on energy management. The last part of the book from chapter 22 to 25 is related to various practical and refined tools for assessment of efficiencies of cropping systems through agronomic, physiological and statistical approaches as discussed in details for drawing meaningful conclusions/inferences by researchers and planners. As such, the book stands as a comprehensive compilation on various aspects of cropping system management.
