Culture and personality has provided a fertile field for the extension of theories from a variety of disciplines, including cultural anthropology, psychoanalsis, and sociology. A number of differing viewpoints on the relation between culture and personality have developed and influenced investigators in this field. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Lakshmi Subramanyam
Lakshmi Subramanyam is a product of St. Mary Convent School at Madural. She has got several awards and honours in essay competition and other participatory activities from her school. She got her graduation and post graduation in Psychology from Annamalai University. She started her teaching career in a private college and carried on her research on culture and personality. The present book is the outcome of that. She has already attended several seminars and conferences where she spoke on various topics focusing on Psycho-social integration. She has been invited by several Universities topics focusing on Psycho-social integration. She has been invited by several Universities in India as a guest speaker in various academic activities.
